Petroleum Reduction Project

We can evolve toward more sustainable livelihoods and communities by decreasing our dependence on fossil fuels. Our economy is fueled by petroleum for transportation, chemical reactions, heating, and material productions. Moon Valley is committed to reducing our use of petroleum based products and fuels, while encouraging and modeling viable solutions. All of our body care products are made with non-petroleum, all natural ingredients. We currently fuel our farm equipment on biodiesel.

Moon Valley is starting a biodiesel project to support local entrepreneurs providing an alternative to fossil fuels, creating a dynamic opportunity for our company, our community, and you to positively invest in our future.

Our pure and natural honey is raw and unfiltered, with nothing, artificial added.

Unlike commercial processing that heat and strain, our honey is handled gently, maximally preserving the vitamins and enzymes.

Honey tastes great, is exceptional in tea and coffee, and can be a natural substitute for processed sugar in any recipe.

Honey Care Instructions

Honey is one of the only foods in nature that will never spoil!

It should be stored at room temperature.

When honey crystallizes, which it does naturally, place the jar in warm water or a double boiler.

Do not heat above 90°F to preserve its healing properties.
